Ophelia is a woman in 'Hamlet' written by Shakespeare
and also she inspired many artists.
Flowers usually symbolize happiness or celebration but the flowers with Ophelia looks sad. But the death of Ophelia seems more beautiful and mysterious due to these flowers in water.
I was also inspired by this beautiful and sad painting so that I drew it. I described her face as my real face to express my sympathy of her.
